Our bodies are constantly communicating with us. They share ways we can improve our health, set effective personal boundaries, and strengthen our connection to the wider world.
Meditation and mindfulness practices help guide us to a deeper understanding of our bodies and minds. More importantly, these practices can give us fresh perspectives on our thoughts, emotions, and attachments. In this series, we'll explore three types of meditation: QiGong moving meditation, guided visualization, and sound therapy.
Most of our time together will be spent experiencing the meditations themselves. But over the course of the 3-week series, you'll gain a foundational understanding of:
How each style helps you relax and pay attention to your body.
The history and benefits of QiGong, sound therapy, and guided visualization.
Ways a consistent practice paired with energetic therapies can support your wellbeing goals.
All levels welcome. No special attire needed. Bring a yoga mat, a bottle of water, and a friend!
